Guru Rico was born is Puerto Rico and Raised in California, a former professional baseball player for the New York Yankees and New York Mets minor league systems. After his playing days he worked for the Chicago White sox 10 years as a baseball scout.
Guru Rico is one of the highest ranked FCS Instructors in the World with the title of Lakan Guru. He is also a 6th Degree Shihan in Aikijujitsu- te under Prof. Lou Ferrer and studied Aikido for 8 years.
Nowadays, Rico trains students in Puerto Rico, Florida, Israel and all over the world helping spread FCS.
