The CFMA logo is composed of few elements that represent the spirit and ideas behind CFMA - the traditions, methods of training and origins of what we do.

The inner circle:

Derived from the traditional Tai Chi symbol of the Yin and Yang and stands for the Chinese systems within CFMA. The Tai Chi symbol also represents the flow and change, two of the core principles we try to follow..

The Yin and Yang parts of the symbol are designed to resemble the Kerambit knife, to reflect the Filipino systems within CFMA.

The outer triangle:

The three vertices of the triangle are meaningful for both the Chinese and the Filipino systems.

Chinese- “the three treasures”: Jing (essence), Qi (Chi…) and Shen (spirit).

Filipino- the three core principles in the Filipino styles we do: Flow, Bait, Transitions.

The three vertices are rounded to emphasize the circular movement – a movement that never stops.

The Acronym in the logo:

Stands both for the origins of our martial arts systems - Chinese and Filipino - and for two of our core principles: Change and Flow.
